Bob Ward, of Umatilla, Oregon, built this Baby Tender for his first grand niece, Caroline, who was born last September. The tender, named CAROLINE after her skipper, was launched in November.
Though the design by B. N. Morris called for a 17' canoe, Mitchell Skinner shortened the design to 14' (with 33" beam)and turned it into a solo canoe, QUIET WATERS. He will be using this canoe to fly fish on the lakes of northern Maine.
Using Phil Bolger's "Sweet Pea" design for inspiration, Allen Head designed this boat for his 9-year-old daughter, Casey. With an overall length of 9', CASEY'S BOAT is constructed from 6mm Meranti plywood. Casey did much of the painting.
LUNA is a beautiful skerry from CLC boats. I built it myself here in São Paulo Brazil. It’s probably the first of her kind to be built here.
