(Toronto, ON) – The 56th Annual Toronto International Boat Show, Canada’s largest, most
popular marine marketplace, drops anchor January 11-19, 2014, at the Direct Energy Centre,
Exhibition Place. A mid-winter rendezvous tradition for the boating community, it’s your best
opportunity to discover the boat of your dreams, and there’s no better time to buy! Here, you’ll
find boats for every lifestyle and budget – whether you’re a fishing, cruising, sailing, paddling, or
watersports enthusiast – as well as all of the latest marine products and services. Put Some
Summer in Your Winter at the Toronto International Boat Show, and you and your family will
enjoy a fun-filled day of on-water boating activities, boat rides, wakeboarding and boat-handling
demonstrations on the world’s largest indoor lake for boaters, more than 140 special guest

THE LAKE: In January, there’s only one lake in Canada that can provide indoor thrills

for boaters takes over six days to create with more than one million gallons of Lake

Duma: The wakeboarding, boat-driving wonder dog returns with another awe-inspiring,
entertainment-packed show for the entire family.
Winter Wake Fest: Wakeboarders and skaters crank up the volume on The Lake for a
spectacular show of grinds, tricks and flips. It’s an awesome display of acrobatics as
pro riders hit the rails and test their skills.
Discover Watersports & Go Wakeboarding: Guided by expert instructors, showgoers
receive hands-on wakeboarding instruction “on shore,” then take to The Lake to
try out their new skills behind the Sesitec System 2.0.
FREE Boat Rides: From kayaking to canoeing, paddleboats, inflatables, and hydrobikes,
