AMERICA Lecture Sail Series and Onboard Tours

-

In 1851, a schooner with a radical design traveled from New York to England. After winning a legendary sailing race around the Isle of Wight, AMERICA stunned the world, sailing home with a trophy that now bears her name — the AMERICA’s Cup, the oldest international sports trophy. A replica of that famous first winner of the AMERICA’s Cup will be on display at the National Sailing Hall of Fame on Annapolis City Dock (Maryland) from September 12th through the 17th as part of the AMERICA’s Cup Tour. There will be public tours and lecture sails with AMERICA’s Cup Hall of Famer and National Sailing Hall of Famer Gary Jobson, and with sailor, businessman and AMERICA’s Cup aficionado Troy Sears, who has been sailing AMERICA from port to port as part of an around-the-world tour with the schooner. Space is limited for the lecture sails and will fill up quickly. Schedule of events/registration: http://bit.ly/2cs2tQA
