Ballentine's Boat Shop

Ballentine’s Boat Shop, Inc. has been known for maintenance and restoration of classic wooden boats.  We have completed numerous restorations of the Herreshoff 12½ and are currently rebuilding L. Francis Herreshoff’s Design 53, BEN MY CHREE.

We also manufacture both of these daysailers in teak: Stuart Knockabout.

The Stuart Knockabout was designed by Nathanael’s son L. Francis Herreshoff, and is admired for her elegance, simplicity and performance on a leisurely sail or in competition.

In addition to new boats, Ballentine’s also brokers used boats.
