Nymph Canoe
Elizabeth Shay of Pocatello, Idaho, is very lucky to have Paul Shay as her grandfather. Paul built Elizabeth a canoe of her very own, a 10′ Nymph designed by Nick Schade.

CHARLOTTE II
Jaap Kraayenhof of Groningen, Holland, took seven years to build this 16′ catboat. He says he spent most of the time reading WoodenBoat magazine, and considers WB to be his boatbuilding training. The boat is built entirely of recycled wood.
Flat-Iron Skiff
The Northwest School of Wooden Boat Building builds Flat-Iron skiffs during the first semester of each year-long class. The school accepts commissions for boats from 11′6″ to 16′ long. If the class is building on speculation, the boats are usually 11′6″ or 12′6″ long.
Driftwood
Driftwood’s hull is constructed of marine mahogany covered by fibreglass. The keel, stem, gunwales, benches, and spray rails are made from Sapele. It’s a Candlefish 13 Devlin Design that uses the stitch and glue construction method.
Bevin's Skiff
Six youths in GreenFleet’s after-school boatbuilding program launched two Bevin’s skiffs in April 2011. They modified them from the original Joe Youcha design by raising the freeboard 1″. The boats will be used in GreenFleet’s summer environmental education and stewardship program.
PROA
Lernort Studio is an educational institution subsidized by the city of Dusseldorf and the state of Northrhine-Westfalia in Germany offering classes to high school students. Sculptor Michael Kukulies supervised the construction of this proa by his woodworking students at studio.
