Wayne Kaler built this 11′6″ Car Topper skiff designed by Phil Bolger, in an airplane hangar in Oakland, California. Fittingly, he called it FLYING ZUCCHINI. He enjoyed sailing and rowing the boat on San Francisco Bay.
She’s a light cedar strip solo canoe that will appeal to the paddling enthusiast that finds himself/herself without a partner for day trips, birdwatching, or the occasional overnighter.The canoe is light, stiff, easily driven and a joy to paddle.

I completed the Lumber Yard Skiff based on the plans I purchased from The WoodenBoat Store. It is constructed of cypress planking for its sidewalls, cedar boards are used for the deck, bottom, and benches. It is sealed with fiberglass matte and marine epoxy.
Attached are some picture of our completed (finally) Peeler Skiff that my daughter and I started at GLBBS in 2013. First launch, Suttons Bay, Michigan.
Adrienne Keller and her father Kip launched their Penguin sailboat in October of 2007, the first boat either of them had built. Kip sailed Penguins, which were designed by Phil Rhodes, as a youth in upstate New York.
I completed my CLC Shearwater 17 last week and had my launching on Friday. Here are some pictures of the boat after I put the final touches on it, as well as of me on the water.
