DRAGON-FLIER is the third wooden boat that Brad Story has built. The Ply-Flier is designed by Stevenson Projects of Carmel, CA. He modified the plans to strip the sides instead of constructing them from plywood. The strips are poplar and cedar; and the trim, rudder, and transom are cherry.
Andy Bosworth used the book "Building Heidi" by Richard Kolin as the source for his 12'4" skiff, which he built as a 50th birthday present for his brother. Andy used Douglas fir, white oak, and mahogany, with marine plywood for the bottom.
OTIS is a 19' Triple Cockpit Barrelback Runabout, built by Ed Van Kirk and designed by Ken Hankinson. Launched in April 3005, it uses a 5.7 liter Volvo Penta engine, with 13L13 prop. Ed uses his boat in the waters around Constantine, MI.
After visiting several wooden boat shows in the northeast, Andre Vachon finally built his own boat, CAP NATURE, and launched it in June 2005. CAP NATURE is a 16-foot long Stevenson Projects One Design.
I started building my Melonseed Skiff in 2017 and finished it in 2021. Because I do not have a garage or large shed, I did work outdoors from May to November (living in Sherbrooke, Québec).
Andrew Green recently took to the water in Wisconsin in his Wee Lassie.
LOTTE was built in 1928 by Lake Union Drydock in Seattle. She was moved to Vermont in 2008 and has undergone substantial renovation including cold molding the hull from waterline to keel and is now repowered with a BMW marine diesel.
Tom Shives built this Glen-L Drifter, from Glen-L Marine plans, with a small group of men from his church.

Mahogany inboard. New varnish & bottom paint. Newish 383 (500-hp). 50 mph. New upholstery.
Restored in ME by Jonathan Minott (seen in WB "Launchings" July/Aug 2009).
Partial restoration. Has rare Edson oscillating (worm) steering system.
