Cooper Jr. - RYD-22.11
RYD-22.11 is a shortened version of her sister RYD-26. The major differences are the outboard is transom hung, rather then in a well and the cabin is longer. This version was done for a cold weather skipper, who needed the roofed protection.A fairly fine entry, generous flare and moderate deadrise, permits Cooper Jr. to penetrate chop, rise over swells and plane off with efficiency. With a 75 HP outboard, she'll run at 23 MPH. With 120 HP she'll hit 30 MPH, though she can handle up to 250 HP, you'll not get much more then 40 MPH from this hull form. She'd make a fine fishing platform or cruising home afloat.Plans are available in imperial and metric and include; lines, offsets, station molds, bulkheads, blocks, engine well, plywood panel layout and construction drawings. Also included are rough assembly guides, building tips and tricks, assembly photos and epoxy use techniques.
