Designed to be built as a stock boat, the Gulfstream 30 was described as the smallest practical four-berth auxiliary. With her modern masthead rig and easily driven 7,700 lb. displacement hull, she was a real contender in middle distance races. Her accommodations included two berths in the main cabin, a completely equipped galley amidships and double berth forwards with the toilet beneath. Her specifications includes Philippine mahogany planking over oak frames, oak stem, keelson and horn timber and 3,000 lb lead keel.
