HAKA 115
Haka 115 is designed without compromise for voyaging. Her size provides live-aboard comfort with good offshore abilities while her shoal draft makes access possible to all rivers, harbours and anchorages.
Her long waterline provides a good cruising speed and a well-balanced hull.
High ballast ratio and powerful sections give plenty of stability.
The pivoting NACA section centreboard ensures good windward performance and adjust the balance under sails. The twin rudders give good control in broaching conditions.
The cutter rig is powerful, yet rugged, and extremely easy to handle. Its yankee furls well and the staysail will be extremely useful in rough weather.
A large choice of light sails is available to get the best speed in pleasant conditions.
The sandwich on plywood raised-deck is easy and cheap to build, protects the cockpit, give a clean deck plan and lots of internal volume.
The accommodation plan has been designed for the best comfort for a crew of two for extended cruises.
