Manic 18

This is a modern Off shore power boat design, for ski racing. It is an entry level ski racing boat, that will take a new crew through to B grade racing.
The design comes from personal ski racing experience in Australias North Queensland off shore conditions. The lines are clean, simple and efficent for high speed racing. There are two bottm configurations avalible, one with 20º of dead rise for most racing conditions, and one with 24º of dead rise for the serious offshore racer. Two ballast tank configuration under floor for the ultimate trim set up in any rough water condition. Trim tabs to continue the trim abality of the boat with the tanks.
Construction is glass over ply or can be full foam glass construction. There are small weight advantages with the foam core construction. This will be easy for any hands on/trades type person. The stitch and glue type construction makes this design easy, and structuraly uncluttered.
