Pulsar 26
A trimaran is an interesting answer to the complex problems of a trailerable coastal cruiser-racer with comfortable accommodation and sparkling performance.
Pulsar 26 is a proven design which has cruised in family all around EUROPA.
She has an impressive racing record with three championship wins in MICRO IMMCA and MULTI 2000 Challenge AMH!
This design was constantly updated and benefits from the latest racing developments with long buoyant floats for safety and power in strong winds.
The deep daggerboard insures good windward ability and shoal draft. Two spade rudders under the floats give an optimum control.
Her flared main hull provides a superb saloon, standing headroom, a real double berth and separate toilets. Many lockers are available in the floats.
One can steer from the shelter of the cockpit or enjoy the view from the windward float.
The trampolines increase deck space for sunbathing or to inflate a dinghy.
Depending of her program, she will have a rotating aluminium mast or the optional carbon mast with masthead light weather sails. The jibs are on furler, headfoil or self-tacking. Gennaker and asymmetric spinnaker are tacked on a fixed pole.
Pulsar 26 is built in one-off in sandwich or strip planking. Beams are simply bolted to simplify construction.
A lighter flat-out racing Pulsar Micro has also been built with reduced accommodation and she enjoyed many line honours.
