This is my latest design for the Twopointfour metre class. An easy to build lowbudget boat ment to be competetive on the race course.
A double-ended boat legendary for its sea keeping abilities. These plans provide very complete drawings covering everything from backbone to masthead. Construction: Strip-planked over steam-bent frames. Alternative construction: Carvel or cold-molded. Lofting is required.
The TRICKY FIVE has been conceived for a precise scope: to realize a boat, which in relation to its size would maximize the ratio between speed and cost. This means that for a determined cost for materials and hours of construction required, it would be the fastest possible.
Construction — Glued lapstrake clinker plywood. Alternative construction —Traditional plank, cold molded and strip plank. No Lofting required. Plans include 7 sheets with instructions. Sail Area — Lug 65 sq. ft. Sloop 84 sq. ft. Yawl 81 sq. ft.
A series of Catamaran Houseboats/canal boats has been designed with electric propulsion.
The boats have been designed to meet dimensional restrictions of the french canal waterways, however the design can be easily adapted to other inland waterway requirements.
Our Deben Class designs are inspired by the original Deben 4-tonner, which my father commissioned from W. M. Blake in 1936 and the Deben 6-tonner, designed by my father in 1950. At least 35 of the 4-tonners and 3 of the 6-tonners were built between 1937 and 1960.
A stately 10′ rowing/sailing tender originally designed for my own first time build which is currently underway. I wanted an easy to construct boat, yet still retain the techniques and appearance of traditional lapstrake planking.
The Wood Duck 12 is a beautiful, easy to use recreational kayak - Here we have beautiful little kayak designed for just about everyone to enjoy on the water.
