![]() Almaguin 500 The Almaguin 500 is a versatile 5-metre utility runabout, designed with cottagers, anglers and day trippers in mind. When heavily loaded (415 kg “official rated” capacity), it is a versatile working boat, capable of hauling heaps of crew and gear on inland lakes and rivers. After offloading the cargo and surplus crew, and opening the throttle, it will act more like a racing hull- capable of towing waterskiers and pushing 30-knot speeds in flat water. It is built in taped-seam plywood, and does not require elaborate jigs or high-precision carpentry.
