 Murphy - RYD-16.2 Designed for fairly rough water use, this half decked 17' 7" (5.35 m) sloop is a capable little boat, also available as a gaff cat. Built in floatation chambers and lots of storage suit camp cruising and comfortable over nighting. She's a single chine, V bottom craft with a fairly fine entry and plenty of bearing area aft. She'll plane off with sufficient wind strength, though wouldn't be confused with a performance dinghy. PPI is 276 pounds and her hull weight is 325 pounds. A nice, safe novice to experienced skill level boat. that will not surprise you or display bad manners.
