1939 Herreshoff Fishers Island 12 1/2 #1501

In excellent condition, she has been maintained annually, with major refits over the years, including 80% of planking, reframing, new deck, new coamings, new transom and new spars. All work professionally done.

She has a Bermuda rig with self-tending jib and comes with Nathaniel Wilson sails and a custom trailer. Mooring and winter covers. Has fresh paint and varnish. Dynel over marine mahogany plywood deck. Cedar over oak hull. Honduran mahogany brightwork. Sitka spruce spars.

The Fisher’s Island 12 ½ is a seaworthy modification of the classic Herreshoff 12 ½. Very few of this original version remain in existence.
