Salty, mid-century one-of-a-kind launched in 1956 in Vancouver, B.C. Designed and built by Heinz Braun, a professional draftsman, using an existing west coast fishing trawler as a template. Builder sailed it to San Diego in 1959 and lived aboard for three decades at Shelter Island. Current owner lived also aboard at Shelter Island for the majority of the last 26 years. Full keel double-ender has been around the tip of Baja twice and circumnavigated Catalina many times. Currently berthed at a live-aboard slip at Koehler Kraft on Shelter Island, where yard owner is familiar with all repairs made. Rebuilt from garboard to above waterline in 2004, additional planking and waterproof epoxy encapsulation added in 2014. Mast revarnished in 2016, rigging well cared for. Custom painted deck in good condition, does not leak. Full sail collection includes main, multiple headsails, spinnaker and several hand-me-down acquisitions. The original Farrymann diesel with newly rebuilt alternator, cooling pump. Last hauled out for bottom paint, survey in 2014. Needs cockpit paint, varnish, other minor repairs and upkeep.
