Learn how to build a Chesapeake Light Craft Skerry, a stitch and glue 15′ fast rowing and sailing dinghy, at the Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre on Vancouver Island.

Building the Skerry will run from June 9 – 13, 2014 with David Skelhon as the instructor. David is former shop manager for the Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre. He has built an Oughtred designed Blackfish Sailing Dory and a Wharram Tiki. He has cruised extensively in both. He has written an e-book on his voyages, Suilven’s Travels, available as Kindle from Amazon and as an epub from Smashwords.com

Registration deadline is May 15, 2014. Cost is $875 per person with a $250 deposit due by May 15. Class size limited to five people.
