Centennial Boat Show at Moosehead Lake, Maine

-

Celebrating the 100th birthday of the SS KATAHDIN [oldest ship built by Bath Iron Works that still operates regularly], our Bi-Annual Antique & Wooden Boat Shows is especially seeking any vessel, boat or canoe, that is over 100 years old.

If you own a 100+ boat/canoe bring it on a trailer whether it floats or not and you will be recognized at the Show.

Show opens at 10 AM on friday, 8/15, and at 4PM we will have a "Blessing of the Fleet, followed by a Fleet Review".

Katahdin will lead us out of Greenville’s East Cove towards the Junction’s West Cove and return. All members of the Moosehead Lake Yacht Club, started in 1908, and any show participants will be invited to participate in this activity.

Show reopens at 10 AM on Saturday, 8/16 and will close at 3 PM. Awards ceremony will be held at 6PM. Town of Greenville will host a Fireworks display at 9PM, weather permitting, and the Moosehead Marine Museum will offer a Fireworks cruise on the Katahdin.
