Grenada Sailing Festival United Insurance Workboat Regatta

Sailing communities of Grenada & her sister islands of Carriacou & Petite Martinique bring their wooden, bamboo rigged workboats to Grenada’s Grand Anse Beach every year for two days of highly competitive racing, with plenty of music, food & drinks — a Festival of traditional sailing Caribbean style. The boats are locally built, using the original designs for the island’s fishing boats — handed down from one generation to the next.
