BETTE S was built in 1968 by Ralph Stanley and Emerson (Tucker) Spurling in Southwest Harbor, ME. She was named after BETTE SPURLING, Tucker’s wife. She was an active lobster boat in SW Harbor continuously until the summer of 2010.

The Original BLOODHOUND

BLOODHOUND lived from 1874 to 1922 and died in the bitter flames of a fire at the J. Samuel White & Company shipyard in Cowes, England, in 1922. She is still a legend.
