Connecticut Schooner Fest

Connecticut Schooner Festival logo
Wednesday, September 11, 2013 to Saturday, September 14, 2013

The Connecticut Schooner Festival will provide five days of excitement and fun for the entire family.

The highlight will be a race off New London’s Ocean Beach Park, and an awards dinner Saturday night. In addition to a chance to view the race, there will be ship visits, ship chartering opportunities, dockside educational programs for the young, and a number of other festive activities.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Mystic Seaport for its plans to make an unprecedented voyage of the Charles W. Morgan, the last wooden whaleship in the world and the oldest American commercial vessel still in existence. It will be a historic occasion for this National Historic Landmark, for Connecticut and our nation. We are proud to help anyway we can.
