The Western Oregon Messabout Society held its 2nd annual Hagg Lake event last weekend. We had several types of boats: a non-pedigreed, home-built, barn-find Sailing Canoe that young Deborah traded a bicycle for; a Puddle Duck Racer; a Shell Boats "Swifty"; a Warren Jordan "Footloose Skiff"; a Crawford "Melonseed"; a CoreSound 20; and, of course, our Goat Island Skiff.

The company was great. The food, wine and beer were very welcome. Conditions were variable. Morning winds were gentle and fluky. Afternoon winds were quite brisk. I had a lot of fun with the GIS in those winds :D:D
