Is anyone interested in classic motoryacht history? I'm collecting pictures and information on pre 1940 grand yachts, mostly wood, steam or motor. I have downloaded and saved the "yachts" sections of "Merchant Vessels of The United States" for the years 1909, 1910, 1911, 1913, 1918, 1920, and 1922 for quick reference. I also have Lloyd's Register of American Yachts, 1935. I've also collected online photos of several hundred famous yachts as well. I'm happy to share and discuss yacht history with interested parties.

I had the pleasure of steaming on this one prior to the time it was donated to the San Diego Marine Museum.http://www.inetours.com/San_Diego/Photos/Steam-Yacht-Medea.html
