I have a 20 year-old copy of Tom Hill's "Ultralight Boatbuilding". On page 123 there is a design for a 16' catboat called "Bullhead". It
does not state who the designer is or whether plans were ever available. I like the gunter sail rig. The design looks like a chopped-off "Elver" by Steve Redmond. On the copyright page at the bottom it does state that drawings on various pages (including page 123) are copyrighted by Steve Redmond (so I can assume this is indeed his design). I have never seen anything about this design on Steve's website. Anyone have a set of plans? Anyone know anything about this design? Lastly......does anyone have a working e-mail address and/or phone number for Steve. Thanks for your help.

Bullhead is a Redmond design. I wrote him two years back to see if he still offers plans for it. At that time, at least, he did not. I will send you the email address I have for him via PM.

VEETS..........Thanks for Redmond's contact info.

I received a short reply from Tom Hill yesterday. He stated that, indeed, it is a (preliminary ?) design of Steve Redmond's. Plans apparrently were supposed to be forthcoming around the time of publication of Tom's book.......but for reason undisclosed.....were never delivered.

Thanks all.......for the help.
