Here is a wooden Sailfish someone pulled out of their garage and are selling. Good price.

Not sure how you sat, stood or laid on this, but it looks like a great way to sail and get a bath at the same time.:D

Maybe early sixties, but not fifties. It was, however, built before the invention of the footwell. :)

My wife came with one of those Sailfish. It's fun for courting and bikinis! :D :D

Sailfish = two hand rails & no footwell (cockpit)
Sunfish = footwell (cockpit) & no hand rails
Among other differences.
could be 50's.

i have an old home movie of my father and i taking turns sailing ours on Lake Orion in mich. in the mid 60's. it's the only moving image i have of my father and very treasured.:)

We used to drag one just like that down to Mexico every year, only it was red! We used to camp outside of Guymas (sp?) every year for 2 weeks. I am told that it is now a big resort area. Lot of fun times on that Sailfish
