Does anyone have info about the design of a small tunnel boat - 16 ft. <15 HP like I had when I was a kid on the Susquehanna River. Specifically, I am looking for help in sizing the tunnel itself.
I plan to use a 1950's era 2 cyl. Stuart-Turner engine approx. 10HP.
Thanks

There has been a great series in Messing About In Boats magazine by Robb White about the William Atkin designed Rescue Minor design.
And Alex Hadden just finished a 34' tunnel stern Atkin designed Sea Bright Skiff. A real head turner!.
Look at www.by-the-sea.com (http://www.by-the-sea.com) for some of the Messing About In Boats stuff or for the Atkin plans try -

Robb White raves about the performance of his Rescue Minor in the latest Messing issue. And he's got lots of experience for comparison.
Good luck.
