Looks like most every fishing boat in the Caribbean.... Is that the "Reif runner"?

Interesting looking boat. A lot more boat than say a Simmon's sea skiff. Along the same lines, but more so.
And I agree, the windshield is really funky. What were they thinking?

Yep, Rieff Runner. I've never liked that windshield either.
Sweet lines, though!

It's pretty stout too. I seem to recall that it had three layers of 3/4 ply on that bottom.

How about a few feet shorter & a whole lot lighter:

Phil- Have you called and asked him? As far as I can see (which isn't very far as of late) offering plans for would do him more good than harm. -No?

Dave, I like that! Shorter would be better for me. Is that stitch and glue or plank on frame?
Stephen, I just might drop him an email to see.
Thanks.

Mine too, Donn. That's one reason why I'd love to see Brion sell plans for the Rieff Runner... very similar.

That's stitch & glue - and I was trying to make it a cross between the Caribiana and the FAO Boats - took out the rocker and gave it an 11 degree deadrise.
Now Carene has Software to develop lapstrake plans - as soon as I'm finished with my current boat, I'm going to spend the money and draw her as lapstrake. She'll get quite a bit heavier when I do. Right now the hull should come in less than 750 lbs.
If you like the plans, email me - you'll like the price.
