The 2 most recent issues of england's Classic Yacht mag have an outstanding series on the Grand Banks fishery under sail that was a real eye-opener for me. Particularly interesting were the reasons given for the horrendous loss of life in that fishery and for the eventual decline of the sailing fisher. Check it out.
