Is there anybody out there who knows where I can find plans for a small (or downscaled) classic runabout? I'm somewhat limited by the size of my shed, so the smaller the better.
Thanks!
Frank.

Sam Rabl has the 15' OSPREY in his "Boatbuilding in Your Own Backyard" and Weston Farmer has the 17' Kingfisher in his "From my old Boat Shop".

In his brand-new book, "New Plywood Boats and a Few Others", Thomas Firth Jones describes building Ocean Skiff, a 15' clinker plywood runabout, for a customer to use on Squam Lake (Golden Pond). Jones used this Robert W. Stephens stock plan because he said he would have made less than a dollar an hour designing one.

It seems like Ed Monk has plans for two runabouts of that size in his book. One was recently in the launchings section of WB. Could look it up and contact the builder.
Take Care.
