I've had a photo of Secret as the wallpaper on my computer screen for a couple years. Nice looking boat, no doubt about it.

mmmm well seems theyre not to shitehot on the ol email responding caper! Sent an email on the 5th at 12.30am and here it is the 8th at 12.30pm and as yet not a flamin whisper out of them... From reading their site seems they talk of kits but not plans bein available but since they havent responded as yet buggared if I know.. sure love the style an look of her though
aahhh buggar it!
Okay settle an bit of a "discussion" Im presently havin with possum about designs... there was a pretty wee thing a gaffer from England I think that she liked a heck of a lot Im sure a fella over east of me has built one trailerable buildable plans available damn! I cant for the life of me remember what the thing was called  Anyways if I can find out how much they are she is prepared to revist the "discussion" in a few days time... shes just given me the altimatum during said "discussion" that I can have just two more sets of plans then I have to either build one or "get over it" yeah like ANYONE can just get over this fetish/obsession like that  So Susan has been made a definant and now its come down to a choice between Noyo Trawler and this bloody thing! beautiful wee thing along similar lines as this one sorta... if I can ever bloody remember what it was flamin well called an can get hold of the info for her!!! flamin age!!! .. mmmm maybe I should just tell her I wouldnt have a clue cant find a damn thing an me mates have all got a moment of memory loss an get the two shes agreed to an be safe??? ;)

Thats the one mate!! Thanks!... oh blast! Now I got no excuse we have to have the damned "discussion" again! thanks mate
Nah its okay cobber! :D this is the one she likes the most... I remember the fella here in Aus I think in Melbourne or around there  my ming seems to think it was Ron something {gawd I truely hate havin a memory that pharts everytime I want it sane and together! ruddy thing!} anyway I remember when he posted his pics of his finished boat possum was standing looking over my shoulder and actually said something along the lines of "ooohhh geez thats nice luv"... I thought she was talkin about me but nah it were the boat its stuck with her I guess
Anyway again thanks mate! cheers
Okay next question...
The pdf file of the "study plans" from that site states the plans are 320 pounds... so is that still the current price for them or have they increased since that was published... and are they available? I cant seem to get the buy plans page to bring it up... okay an email should sort it but then the buggars at Whisper still havent responded so I dont like me luck at this stage

GG plans are still very much available, but not from ClassicMarine - he just carries the study plans et. al. (all the bronze jewellry for the GG comes from ClassicMarine!)
At one point, I thought that ClassicMarine was selling the plans, but I was corrected on that score and you should contact Roger Dongray directly at rdongray@aol.com
Do a search on "Golant Gaffer" in the designs/plans forum. There's been several threads on her, with lots of pics.

Okay update on Secret!
Ive spoken by email with Max Campbell Scruffies English distributer and apparently... not verified by Derek himself yet still waiting on a response from him... but apparently Derek has drawn the lines for a 37ft version of Secret!!
Wouldnt she be the ducks knuts! Specially if I can convince him to let me buy the plans instead of a kit like Secret herself  Not knocking the kits but if your gonna build a boat surely from scratch is the best way? of course theres a place for kits as well as plans but if one doesnt want to buy the kits its tuff luck sport... which isnt a good thing... ah well will see what happens... one thing about the kits is that for an all up front cost of $16000 Aussie you get everything to build it to launch and sail which would probably be cheeper than doing it yourself... but the journey wouldnt be the same
Will follow up as info comes to hand
