Well, I finally started...

I took a week of vacation last week and got my Shellback started. I was able to get a lot done. I scarfed the plywood, transferred the lines and cut out the bottom panel and the planks. I got the strongback set up and leveled, set up the molds and was able to get the plank and garboards glued up before I left for a weekend trip. I should be able to get the middle planks and sheerstrakes done by the end of the weekend. I came back from my trip and had to go down in the basement and make sure it had really happened!!

Well done Joe! I'm nashing my teeth to get started on my next boat, unfortunately there are other more ( at least in SWMBO's eyes) pressing projects on the house :mad: . Sigh, maybe this winter. smile.gif I'm green with envy. Good luck and most of all enjoy!
