Anyone familiar with a Canadian boat builder known as Bruigom? Attempting to get info on a 31' cutter built in 1982?
Thanks

Yea, I was just on that boat this past weekend; looks like 1-1/4" vertical grain fir over oak every 12".
Actually, a very good value, but, I am interested in finding out more about the specs. when built.
Thanks

George Bruigom operated a small yard in Comox, on Vancouver Island, in the 70's -early 80's. He is profiled in WoodenBoat #19. He built a number of larger Herreshoff designs and a couple of Harrison Butler designs, notably Sage, a cutter of about 30'. In the care of my cousin she sailed from Alaska to Nova Scotia and back.

George retired to Costa Rica a number of years ago.
