Can someone tell me a little more about the Utility Launch plans in the Wooden Boat Shop:if it's seaworthy, etc.? Thanks.

Hi Harry,

I don't know about the WB Utility Launch, but my father designed a 17-foot Utility Launch called GROUPER, which first appeared in the August 1950 issue of THE RUDDER. She has a round bottom hull of 6' 2" beam. Let me know if you would like me to send a PDF describing GROUPER.
