47 foot sloop built in Bath Maine in 1937

I am searching for a 47 foot sloop built in Bath Maine in 1937. I saw once and had a chance to buy her back in 1991. She was in Long island. The name of the boat was ' Idler" I could have bought her back then for a mere 12 thousand. I passed. She was supposed to be documented but I could find no trace of her in the records. Any help will be greatly well you know.

I've took a look in Lloyds register of American Yachts 1939, Nothing under the name Idler (7 entries) that matches, looked through 6800 + entries for boats between 45-50 ft,built in 1937 in Bath Me. as sloops, cutters, yawls and ketches and foun nothing coming close. Please confirm info given and any additional if possible and I'll take another look. Tony
