Hello to formites. I like the look and the size of Martha Green. Skipjack or not! Would this boat be suitable for cruising to Jamaica from the gulf coast? smile.gif

Nice looking boat, especially with the ketch sailing rig when weather permits.

I have dunnitt in smaller boats and with less accommodations...she looks to be entirely adequate...

Where has this design been hiding all my life? I'm very impressed. Thank you John Atkin. How about this comparison?

Stambaugh's Puffin 28ft.
I've drooling over Puffin for some time, but Martha Green looks even better.

Mike,
Yeah, I've been on his site and we've conversed. Seems like he's a little bogged down in finishing her. Puffin seems like alot of work. As far as I can tell, he's the first to build one.

Has anyone built Martha Green recently? she is very pretty though I think I would enclose the wheel house to make her a 4 season boat. Already have an Atkin Vilisar - not sure I have the means for another boat now. Would love to see some more photos of existing martha greens out there.
