Has anyone built the Jam 8? Are plans still available?

Ted, I'm not sure about a current source for the Jam8 plans and I haven't built one though I think I will. I have a couple of friends who have built them and the plans were published for free in Boatbuilder Magazine some time back. If anyone here has a collection of those then that would be a good source. I tried to email the original designer but it was returned.
Hope you can find them. If I do I'll pass them on to you.

Yes, I have built one and have the plans close by. Just launched mine in June and am very impressed with it. Very stable, quick to turn, and holds me (at 230lb) with a reasonable amount of freeboard. I modified mine with a raked stem, added a bulkhead that doubles as a seat back, and changed the keel bottom to a flat bottom to get my bulk lower into the boat and lower the center of gravity. Works for me.
