View Full Version : Erling L. Kristofersen---info on his Oslojolle design
I have an Oslojolle and would love to have more info on the design---any ideas?
Cheers, Bruce
I always admired the Oslojolle, but I never sailed one. The were imported to the US in the 1950's, with a marconi jib and mainsail rig. I heard that in Norway they were commonly rigged with a lug sail.
Later they were built of FG.
good info--- Open boat and a lug rig---both of these interest me. Anyone know more?

how can i get the book by Jon Winge

OEX,
If you send me your mailing address I will make a photocopy of the one page bulletin that I have for the Oslojolle, and send it to you.
You wouldn't know where another one is would you?
No I do not know of others in the States. I got this one from Michigan about 4 years ago. I may find more in the info search and I will let you know. It is a fun rocket and good in short steep seas---on paper it might not seem it, but in action it is.
Cheers and I e-mailed you my address.
Bruce
I hope my changes do not make you hate it---opening up and woodifying it, etc. I plan on adding a progress log on the WBRF site so people can see the attack first (ish) hand. Bit like this, but more open....and seating, storage, etc RAID like.
