Hello,

Looking for photos, stories, blueprints (I have some nice blue print drawings, done on a recent rebuild) or anything to help me with the info I desire. I am offspring of the Seaford Veritys and wish to compile information about my family's boats before it becomes too late. Any item can be emailed to: bill@projectskylab.org.

I am always looking for a Verity Wood skiff for sale. This is the boat the Grover Skiff was made from in fiberglass. There is one in Mystic Seaport Museum and one at the Long Island Maritime Museum. Thank you very much.

I've got a 21' Verity skiff that was built in 1954-55. I'll see if I can get someone with a digital camera to take and post a few shots for you. The story I got is that my boat was built by Sam Verity's son-in-law in the side yard of Sam's house. There is a larger (34'?) skiff owned by a doctor in West Islip that has recently had much work done to it. I think there was a short piece about it in Offshore magazine several years ago.
