It seems that sedan runabouts used to be more popular in the 50's with Chris Craft and the like.
Modern 16-20 foot runabouts, both production glass and custom wood, seem to be almost 100% open cockpit designs, with little but a windshield for weather protection.
Here in the Puget Sound we need boats that protect you from the weather when you want to go boating in November.
Devlin's Noddy (http://www.devlinboat.com/dcnoddy.htm) is the only good modern example I've found. Anyone know of a slightly larger version of the same type?
