Does any one have any insights on a computer program that would let you input a table of offsets of a classic boat design and get a 3-d representation similiar to the output of Carlson"s Hulls program? I would beinterested in just playing on the computer and possibly building a classic boat from one of the references like Gardner or Chapelle. Thanks
Hulls > Data > Offset Table. It's editable. Pull up a plan kinda like yours, change the values in the table; I'll guess, although I haven't tried, that you could start with "new" and fill the table in. (You're limited to five stations, though.)
