Hi I am looking for info on Ken Smith the designer of the early Grand Banks. Does anyone know if he is alive or if his company still exist? Any leads would be great the Name Ken Smith is hard to search. Thanks Steve

As you said a search for Ken Smith was a real pain lots and lots and lots of Ken Smiths in this old world of ours!

I didn't know about the GB connection. I am well along in an extensive rebuild of a Kenneth Smith sportfisherman built by Goudy and Stephens at East Boothbay in 1958. The plans show him in Fairfield, Conn. and East Boothbay. He is dead, but I believe his son is a professor in VT somewhere. It would be interesting to know more.
