Anyone know where to find plans for a glued lapstrake plywood dingy of 6-7'? No prams please.

Don't know about 6' and 7' is tough too.
Iain Oughtred's Acorn (a.k.a. Auk) tender shown above starts at 7'-5" and can be built up to 8'-10". Plans from our hosts.
Paul Gartside has an 8'-3" glued lap plywood dinghy.

A dink 8' or under rather tough to row. For anyone bigger that a child there is precious little leg room and the oars tend to hit your knees.
You may get around this by using very short oars but you'll give up a lot of leverage.

I'm trying to talk the guy into Gartside's lapstrake pram.

Elegant, IMHO.
And thanks, I'd forgotten the Acorn.
