Probably old news to all of you but along theidea of tricks of the trade.
I occassionally get split knuckles from hitting things when I am wood working.
You know the kind that just don't heal because they crack every time you move your hand.
My martial arts instructor (also an Eastern style herbal healer) said put Vitamin E oil right on the crack. They heal in days if not hours. Now we always have it in the first aid kit.
