Lots of you have probably seen Ken Swan's ads for Little Gem. You may not know that there's plenty more where that came from.
For those of you who like the Jasper and "Auntie Helen" designs from Wm. and John Atkin, try this -- Ken Swan's "Shadow:"

http://www.swanboatdesign.com/images/shadow_hull_01.gif
(The boat in the picture was built for oars and small outboard only. The plans show washboards the length of the sides.)
Length is 15'5", with a 4'5" beam. Ken also has two other sailboats using the same hull, one of which ("Princess") is very much like a 15-foot version of another Atkin design, "Alone." Princess has a lug rig and daggerboard, and, as with Alone, the back half of the boat is clear for sleeping or lounging.
If you haven't seen Ken's catalog, it's well worth the $12. There are several other nice small sailing craft (none longer than 15-1/2 feet), as well as a full range of fine outboard semi-dories, including the Nez Perce 16 and Nez Perce 19, and a larger flat-bottomed sport fishing boat called the Chinook.
Unfortunately, Ken doesn't have the details of all his boats online, but here's his site: www.swanboatdesign.com (http://www.swanboatdesign.com)
