Any suggestions on locating plans for a 21 to 22 foot Friendship Sloop? Assuming I did search correctly, I did not find any reference previously posted.

Have been looking for ideas for my next project. Several months ago a friend told me about a FS for sale. Started reading and sounds like a boat that would be fun to own. At same time, was looking for my next project ... now I need to see if plans are available and estimate costs of project. Anything larger than 21 - 22 feet LOA is not practical for Nebraska lakes nor for my rather small work area

Jim, Check out Phil Bolger. He designed a pretty 20' FS years back.

There was a very pretty Friendship built ca. 1978 near Robinhood, ME. The designer was McKie Roth. He might still be in Maine.
I saw the boat last year moored in Woods Hole, MA. You might inquire of the Woods Hole harbormaster.

The Smithsonian has the plans for Pemaquid, from Chapelle's American Small Sailing Craft.

I think JR Benford has designed a Friendship in that size range. His design catalog is available on a special order basis at www.amazon.com. (http://www.amazon.com.)
