Finally narrowed my choice of winter boatbuilding on two designs: Footloose and Green Island 15.
They are different boats but both caught my eyes. I have had some very helpful and relevent information on G I 15, and other designs, from C. Locke in this forum (Thanks again). But I still need some more feedback on Jordan's Footloose to make final decision..
Anyone build one ?

I did a search under designs and plans for Footloose and found this thread where LongJohn said he was thinking about building one. LongJohn, did you actually build it?

It would be great if we could figure out some techie way to create a matrix of boats that we have each built and whether we'd be available for questions like this. Any ideas?

Karl Stambaugh, in "Good Skiffs" gives a good review of Jordan's boat. Also, I think that John Kohnen of Mother of All Maritime Links fame built one. He is the moderator of the yahoo atkin group and occasionally posts here.

Erik:
I've got the Green Island 15 plans as does Dennis - likely he'll weigh in here. It has much to recommend it. It is one tough boat. At one point the designer even filled it with water and sailed it a mile or so back to the dock - impressive.

John does have a Footloose named Pickle and its a fine boat. He should be along to show off some photos I would think.
