View Full Version : Am I Missing Something?

I recently purchased a set of plans for Atkin's sailing skiff Lark (design #756). The packet contained 3 sheets of drawings: 1)sail/deck plan; 2)line plan; and 3) contruction plan. I'm thinking that I am missing a sheet that contains offsets and other bits of info I would need for building the skiff, but I am not sure. Because I am not sure, I am hesitant to send Mrs. Atkin a letter that tests her patience with the bothersome questions of a rookie. Therefore, I was wondering if there was anyone on the forum who has plans for this particular boat, and if you do, could you inform me if I am missing a piece of the puzzle.

Thanks,

Dennis

I'm inclined to believe that you can develop your own set of station moulds, useing the info on the line drawing. Your missing set of offsets would be used to create the line drawing(either in scale or full size). What is the other stuff your missing?

Ion, thanks for the reply. You are right, since I posted I have found that I have everything I need on these 3 sheets.

Dennis,

I thought I would look here for plan suggestions for the Lark and low and behold...you are here too.

I have seen the line of the boat on a few sights and am now looking for better study plans.

Looks like a relatively easy boat to build.
