Here are some pictures sent to me by a client in Berlin who's restoring this vessel and is chasing some bronzeware for her. In another thread I appealed for help in translating the German, and if it materialises I'll let you know. In the meanwhile, she's a nice-looking boat, nicht ist?

Kosterboot BRAVO
History:
Built 1912 on the swedish "Koster" islands along the lines of Colin Archer. Colin Archer copied and improved the traditional boat designs of the islands Koster and Hvaler. This procedere of improving traditional lines was also done by the boatyards of those islands who took the designs from Larvik.
This boat was used as fishing boat in the beginning and then was converted to the looks it has today in the 50s by the grandson of the first owner, the owner of a fishfactury. The teak-deck as well as the Mohagonycabin were restored and the rig changed into a 7/8 rig. The original Koster-hull was left untouched.
In 1979 an engine was installed and 1980 the hull was sheathed with GFK by a swedish boatyard.
