Unfinished project 18' cutter for sale WB classified

I thought this boat advertised in WB this month of interest to all. No design name or designer known by owner but photos may help. He bought her after original builder died. I think the original rig was to be a cat rig, he calculated enough to change her to a gaff/cutter. Asking price $750... Location: Houston... LOD 17'6", Beam 6'8", Draft approx 3'. Advertisment in classified of WB this month.

Reason #1 why this old fart is hesitant to embark on a boatbuilding project of similar magnitude.

I suppose Reason #2 might be "Build a boat and live longer."
